Who are the Two Witnesses in Revelation?
A hotly debated end times subject is who or what exactly are the Two Witnesses in Revelations.
The two olive trees (Israel and Judah) and the two lamp-stands aka God’s elect that “light up the world”. Once you believe on Jesus you are part of the Kingdom and His elect. (Jew and gentile alike)b
“For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?” Romans 11:24 KJV
The two witness is a representation – not literal. The spirit of Moses and Elijah will be what drives us. The “two witnesses” are the Spirits of these two great men from our ancestry.
“These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.” Revelation 11:4 KJV
“Ye are my WITNESSES, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” Isaiah 43:10 KJV
“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my WITNESSES. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.” Isaiah 44:8 KJV
“A true WITNESS delivereth souls: but a deceitful WITNESS speaketh lies.” Proverbs 14:25 KJV
This is why I believe The Lord of Hosts (who are the hosts? – humans are the hosts for the Holy Spirit!) will use us to spread the Gospel! We will get power from the Holy Ghost during the 3.5 years just like they had in the book of ACTS!
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:” Acts 2:17 KJV
